Making a good to great wine all comes down to balance and taste. This is an educational and fun team building excercise to help you understand the nature of blending and running a winery. Participants will work in teams to create a Bordeaux (Meritage) Style Blend. They will then create a label and marketing campaign for their wine. The teams ‘winery’ will be judged by a selected number of ‘tasters’ or industry professionals.
- Learn the history of blending and why winemakers do it
- Become a winemaker for a couple of hours and try your hand at blending
- Create your own ‘brand’ and label for your winery with your team
- Create a marketing plan for your new wine with your team
- Compete with others teams while the wines are judged blindly which team made the best wine!
